World Alliance Welcomes Two New Members During Its AGM in Busan

The World Alliance is delighted to welcome two new members to its growing global network

The World Alliance is delighted to welcome two new members to its growing global network: the Tashkent International Financial Centre and the International Financial Centre of Oman.

Their membership was announced during the World Alliance Annual General Meeting in Busan, South Korea, where representatives from leading financial centers gathered to exchange insights, advance joint projects, and strengthen international cooperation.

Throughout the AGM, World Alliance members had the pleasure of welcoming the teams from Tashkent and Oman, learning more about their ambitions, priorities, and visions for the development of their respective financial ecosystems. The meetings also provided valuable opportunities to explore future collaboration across areas such as sustainable finance, innovation, artificial intelligence, cross-border investment, and the evolving role of international financial centers.

The addition of these two institutions further strengthens the World Alliance’s presence across Central Asia and the Middle East. It also reflects the increasingly global nature of our network and our shared commitment to connecting financial centers, exchanging expertise, and developing coordinated solutions to common challenges.

The World Alliance looks forward to working closely with both new members and involving their teams in its international projects, working groups, research initiatives, and upcoming events.

A very warm welcome to the Tashkent International Financial Centre and the International Financial Centre of Oman. We are delighted to have you with us and look forward to building meaningful and impactful collaborations together.
